About Help Cats of Cyprus
Our story
Help Cats of Cyprus began on the streets of Chryssopolitissa, in the old heart of Larnaca — feeding and neutering the cats of the neighbourhood, one colony at a time. We're a young rescue, starting small: no shelter of our own yet, just the daily work on the city's streets. One day we dream of a garden where rescued cats can grow old in the sun. For now, every euro and every hour goes to picking cats up, treating them and finding them homes.
Where we work
Larnaca and the villages around it. Cyprus's street cat problem is the whole island's; our reach is not, and we would rather say so than take a call from somewhere we cannot get to. Widening it is the point of growing.
